About Us

The Ali Reza Islamic Center opened its doors to serve the local Muslim community with the vision of creating a place of worship, learning, and unity. Over the years, it has grown into a vibrant institution, welcoming worshippers at its regular programs, gatherings, and special events. Our congregation is deeply rooted in the teachings of the Shia Twelver (Ithna Asheri) tradition, and the Center is committed to preserving and promoting Islamic values in the community.

As you would expect from an Islamic Center, Ali Reza holds Friday Congregational Prayers (Jummuah) and commemorates important religious occasions with spiritual gatherings and community programs. Details of these events can be found in the Events section of this website.

But Ali Reza Islamic Center is more than just a place of prayer—it is a true community hub, offering a wide range of social, educational, welfare, and youth-focused activities. From children’s classes and Quran programs to youth discussions, family events, and sports initiatives, the Center strives to nurture faith, knowledge, and togetherness for all ages.

Interfaith engagement is also an important part of our mission. We regularly welcome our neighbors from other faiths to join us for programs such as the annual Iftar in Ramadan, where local leaders, residents, and friends from different traditions come together to share the blessings of breaking fast. We also host events that highlight the universal values of justice, compassion, and humanity, drawing inspiration from the life and legacy of Imam Hussain (a.s.).
