Essex Jamaat's Fight against Famine

“300 million children go to bed hungry everyday. This Ramadhan, The World Federation is inviting children from around the world to join our campaign against hunger by raising awareness and fundraising for the annual Ramadhan Relief Fund. The money that the children raise will provide more hot meals to thousands of hungry kids.

Madrasah staff, Jamaat heads, youth committees, parents and guardians - please encourage the children in your communities to participate in this global effort. Together, we can make a difference!”

The youths of Essex Jamaat have launched The ‘Essex Jamaat’s Fight against Famine’ in response to the above appeal.

They will be holding a variety of fund raising activities in order to contribute to the Ramadhan Relief Fund. The activities will take place in the form of various stalls held during the programme nights at Lawford Mead Junior School. All members are requested to take part in encouraging the youths in their effort to make a difference to the lives of those less fortunate than us.
